Methodology
We compare the stable idea of a drink—and keep the variables visible.
1. Define the drink
We identify the coffee base, milk, foam, water, temperature, and preparation that make the drink recognizable.
2. Record uncertainty
Shot count, serving size, café recipe, milk, and additions are stored as variables rather than hidden.
3. Review before publishing
Canonical comparisons receive a manual quick answer, conditional recommendation, source check, and review date.
No false precision
Caffeine and calories require a serving, recipe, and source. When those are unknown, CoffeeVS uses directional language instead of inventing one exact number.
No absolute winner
Taste preferences are conditional. We explain who may prefer each drink instead of scoring one as universally better.
Trademark-safe language
Brand names remain attributed to their owners. Generic categories use generic names, including “Frappuccino-style Drink” for blended coffee-style drinks.
